- How do I get my car out of impound?
-Bring valid proof of insurance, ownership, and a valid licensed driver to the police department to get an impound release form.
-Insurance and registration must be current and owner of the vehicle must be present.
-There are no fees at the police department to get a vehicle release form. - How do I get copies of a police report?
-Come to Umatilla Police Department, ask for and fill out a records request (or submit a request through email by printing and filling out the request form located under Forms & Links).
-Once your request has been processed, and payment received the records can be released to you. - Where do I pay my traffic citation?
-You may pay your traffic citation, speak to the Judge about setting up a payment plan, or dispute your ticket at Umatilla City Hall with the Municipal Court Judge (700 6th St., Umatilla OR 97882 ph: 541-922-3226). You may also pay your ticket on this website by going to online payments. - How do I setup a ride along with an officer?
-Come to Umatilla Police Department, ask for and fill out a Ride-a-long Form (or submit a form through email by printing and filling out the form located under Forms & Links).
-An Officer will contact you in regard to scheduling the Ride-a-along once the form has been reviewed, and a background check has been completed. -
Does the Umatilla Police Department do fingerprinting?
-Umatilla Police Department does complete fingerprinting services on a walk in basis. We ask that you call 10-15 minutes before walking in to ask if an officer is available. Emergency calls will always take priority over fingerprinting services. The cost for this service is $15 for the first fingerprint card and $5 for each additional card. You will need to bring cash or check as we do not have debit/credit card capability. You will also need to bring photo identification.
